Removals around Lewisham's own town centre — where the borough's rail and DLR lines meet, and where large parts of the skyline are still under construction.
Lewisham town centre is genuinely two places at once: a traditional high street and market area around Lewisham station, and one of South East London's biggest ongoing regeneration sites at Lewisham Gateway, right by Loampit Vale where we're based. Lewisham station itself is a real interchange — National Rail services connect here with the Docklands Light Railway, sitting the High Street and Lewisham Shopping Centre within a few minutes' walk.
The Gateway development has been replacing the old northern roundabout with new roads, new flats, restaurants and a planned multi-screen cinema over several phases — which means the built environment around Loampit Vale and the station has genuinely changed street by street over the past few years, and continues to. Practically, that means a move in this part of Lewisham could just as easily be a newer managed-entrance block with a concierge as an older terraced conversion nearer the High Street — two very different kinds of access, sometimes on the same street.
Being based at Loampit Vale ourselves, this is the part of Lewisham we know first-hand, including which roads have changed as the development has progressed.
Lewisham Shopping Centre itself — the 1970s shopping mall on the High Street — has its own separate redevelopment planned by a different developer, on top of the Gateway scheme next door. Between the two, the town centre has more active construction and changing road layouts than almost anywhere else in the borough, which is exactly why we treat "moving in Lewisham town centre" as its own local knowledge rather than folding it into a generic borough-wide page.

The High Street itself is busy and partly pedestrianised, and roads around the Gateway site have changed as construction has progressed, so we usually plan loading from a nearby side street rather than directly outside. Tell us your address and we'll confirm the best approach.
